They Should Know Our Story

You might ask yourself what is the one thing that’s not being talked about nor being discussed in today’s society. That one thing is bullying and that reason is because so many people like myself have went through the painful experiences. The first time that I’ve blogged about this experience on here was back on September 21th 2012 as a student. If you don’t t know that previous blog was also part of a blog assignment if your either wondering for my readers. If you haven’t read that blog post or if your new to my blog site please go and check it out. You might ask me what makes you want to come on here and write a blog post about bullying when you’ve had already written one. Well that’s a very good question and here’s the reason why I’ve decided to do another blog post on it.

If you don’t know how the story goes then here it is on why I’ve chosen to write this blog post on the same subject that I’ve previously talked about on here. So imagine being a graduate of a high school in a small town that’s by the river in Mississippi that’s next to Louisiana which is completely flat and every single time you walked across the hallways of the campus you have this very uncomfortable feeling. Your going from one class to the next one wondering what is going on in the back of your mind about your classes. Your thinking about the pep rally for that Friday’s night home game and all of a sudden you see something very wrong.

As your walking to your next class you see a bunch of people laughing and you starting to wonder who, what and why they are laughing. The very next thing you knew is that you’re the one that’s being laughed at and almost the whole school was talking about you to where it’s all over social media. This might not be going on at your high school campus but instead it’s happening at the vocational technical campus of the community college campus. The other students sees you upset about the whole situation to where they decide to do something about it.

Fast forward to seven years later and your living in another state and your twenty-two miles away from your hometown. You see a news report about it happening to someone else being bullied and it starts to play in your head. As your watching the report and the recording of the video that was in the news report you start to have those memories of what it was like to go through a similar situation to where you wanted to withdraw from public school and finish your senior year homeschooled.

But there was one huge problem with that route as you try to convince your parents that you no longer wanted to go to public school cause of the whole bullying situation. They tell you no you must still go to school and get a good education. In 2019 you should not have to be bullied in school or online to where you’re being forced to be homeschooled. If you’re a current or former high school or college student like myself have been a victim of bullying just know that I know what it’s like to be bullied myself and even at such a very young age to be very scared of what was going to happen in the future. If you’re a student in the public school I personally believe that you do have a choice on getting a good education. It’s time for the world to know who we are and know how we was able to get through the bullying and know our story.

I personally know what it’s like to go through those things cause it has personally has happened to me and nothing was done about it. You all might ask on here “What do you do to get over all of the years especially being bullied in high school?” Well that is blogging, writing fan fiction on Wattpad along with bringing my social media world to life. It’s also time to tell every public school district in the US that it’s time for the bullying to end.
